If you're concerned about the quality of your next month's schedule, the extra 5 minutes of research before the SAP starts is worth it in my opinion.

Flica won't always tell you why trades are being denied. Usually you'll just get a precanned response along the lines of, "crew exceptions, password required." Crew track will tell you what days are flagging and any possible items that are causing you to dequal. Buffer issues will cause certain days to flag, which will prevent you from sapping unless certain trades are made. If have a buffer issue and do your research before the SAP begins, you can make the correct trades to unlock you from the SAP from the get go.

no where in the contract is there any reason why sap can be locked from users for any reason, so my 2 cents no matter what the reason, its invalid.

Nice attempt at misdirection, but you didn't answer my simple question(s):
Should it have taken the company's computer 8+ hours to tell me that? Or was that by design?

Try again.

The problem being there is a limited amount of time to SAP so naturally you want your approvals or denials as quick as possible as to make another choice. PSA has gone from 400 pilots to 1200 in a very short amount of time and what is not clear is if that is the reason why sap is having difficulties with performance.
You expect them to spend money to fix an issue that costs them money?

I expect them to abide by the contract they agreed to.

Oh man. I just snorted scotch out my nose. Best of luck with the contract adherence. The company knows ALPA has been de-nutted in this process. I mean after all, they couldn't even bring unity amongst regional airlines when it was obvious they had the upper hand.

Ahhh. Well that's awesome then.

So let me get this straight...your pilot group has shown that you can be walked all over and when management walks all over you again, you're surprised?! It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Do you work at Envoy? Are Envoy pilots complying with the new reserve rules that are a violation of your current CBA? I can find examples of every airline violating CBAs even at Delta or SWA, I guess according to your logic every pilot is being walked over by management including the one in the mirror. It would be funny if it wasn't so obviously hypocritical of you.
