I don't think he's saying russ didnt say it, he's saying Russ can't say the future because Edv doesnt control its destiny. If Skywest decides they want xjt around for another couple years Delta would drop everything tomorrow to make it happen.Originally Posted by legend
95% is a big number. Have you fact checked your 95%? Anything can change when the company says things as Delta is the one making those decisions. I'm sure they don't tell us all they know but Mr. Elander is perty straight forward with his info. He said the plan is 18 but 14 confirmed 200 in new base. I asked how many airframes to expect in the future, he said 175-200 and that doesn't include the 200s. Also said 200s are here 3-5 more years before gone. He didn't say what base!! Green route you can give him a call to fact check if you want.
95% of what RE says is well meaning, thats a fact. The 200s didnt leave, the 175s and 700s didn't come, the EtD wasn't a great success, pilots didn't stop leaving for PSA once Guum explains how good we had it, money WAS what pilots needed to come chance employment with EDV.
Some of that stuff RE meant, some he was told to say. The 200s will be here if oil stays down, when it goes up the 200s will evaporate.
