Quote: He was on Tinder in full uniform, ID and all. With a sign pointing to his crotch with something about FAs written on it. How someone found that photo I have no idea.
The sign was a placard used when then FA JS is MEL. At least here, they place it in the first seat and reads "For Flight Attendant Use Only".

FWIW the Chief Pilot's Office has had this information since November/December. The FA Union received this information as well at some point. But Mesa seems to think they are golden because they spent a couple of bucks on their DFW crew room.

I would love to show them pictures of freshly painted AA 767s and A320s in the new colors sitting out in ROW waiting to be broken down for spare parts. It costs a pretty penny to completely repaint an aircraft...yet the company did it anyway knowing they would be flying them out to the desert in a few months. Yet Mesa guys are holding on to their crew room as "proof" of how they will never leave DFW.

I just saw that out there and was shaking my head, amazed again how the wastefulness of this company has no bounds. They literally waste millions of dollars every day out of stupidity. They waste millions on fuel by pis sing off the pilots, they waste millions on cancellations, delays, rebookings, hotels, lost baggage due to going cheap on employees and trying to have 1 person do 3 peoples jobs to save $30/hr. They waste millions on lost customers for life due to poor customer service and poor product. Grouchy old employee's who are unfriendly and rude. Or having passengers miss their connection to a cruise ship or a wedding due to being parked at at the gate with no jet bridge driver for 40 minutes because they are too cheap to pay $12/hr for another person to do the job properly. They waste millions shipping E145's off to PDT and starting a whole new program when they are already here, with current and qualified pilots. They waste millions in un-productivity, lazyness and just not caring of employees by treating their employee's like crap and threatening them instead of valuing them and treating them as an asset. They continue to waste money outsourcing to RAH who just cancels thousands of their flights due to staffing. They waste god knows how much on printing miles and miles of paper for everything every day on thousands of flights, not to mention AA is probably responsible for wiping out an entire rainforest due to all the paper waste. Should have gone electronic for everything YEARS ago. I could go on for hours on all the waste I see every single day. It's sickening. Someone competent could save AAG over a billion a year and make the employee's happy at the same time.

I have seen estimates on those paint jobs at between 50K to 150K each including materials and labor costs. Then Straight to the desert to be retired, yet they refuse to pay a reasonable wage to regional FO's.

Sorry to thread drift, but I noticed at least 2 freshly painted AA 767s in ROW as well. Haven't they been having reliability issues with them? Before we were kicked off jetnet I saw an article pertaining to it. What I'm thinking is that they intended on keeping those particular 767s around and some big unforeseen MTX issue came up and perhaps they were cheaper to park. Just what I'm thinking anyway.

So true. Don't forget about schedules built to 60 hrs while guaranteeing 72 hrs. FedEximg iPads when they could have been retrieved from the office. Waste-waste-waste

Never ceases to amaze how pilots think have the entire airline industry figured out and could solve everything if only the dumbass CEOs would let them.

Never ceases to amaze me how the dumbass management flushes money down the toilet everyday. Tripping over dollars to try and save a penny.

Of course you are hearing that. Of
Course you would post that here. Management is now using fear rumors to try and populate nee hire classes, with Mesa pilots.

If i remember that story and the townhall video they were, i think anyways, have dispatch reliability issues for international flights. Dougweiser said something along the lines of they were working on fixing the issues with the 67 but you might be right and they are deciding to mothball them early.

It is slightly humorous that the few out there have the winglets and ones I have seen doing the dfw-mia shuttle in recent weeks are the older straight wing model.
