This..... You're over qualified for a regional and will probably be disappointed. Try the LCC route or maybe even Atlas or Southern. The new contract is probably nice at Republic, but the same business model is in-place.

Just have realistic expectations. It's a regional. You will be mistreated and be paid next to nothing. It's doable if you live in base and DO NOT GET COMFORTABLE. Get in, get a type, get some time and get out at the first opportunity. Job fairs and 121 experience are the key to landing a spot at a reputable carrier.

Fixed it for you. Anyone who blames ALPA for their poor contract only has to look in the mirror or across the crew room to see who is really responsible.

YOU voted for the LEC who appointed a lousy Negotiating Committee then agreed to send you a substandard contract. And YOU are the pilots who continue working for substandard wages and benefits.

If the regionals didn't have the pilots willing to be abused don't you think they'd sweeten the pot?

Really? This is the real world of deregulated airlines. And the race to the bottom is lead by the pilots, not the airlines.

Dude go to a fractional or something but for gods sake don't go to a regional with the experience you've already got.
