Does anyone have a email for Skywest Recruitment or HR? I have some questions about my application.

Reviving old thread. I’m planning on temporarily moving to base with the expectation of my wife and I frequently returning to home (family) on days off. My question is, on Delta, United, AA, is travel free for both employee and spouse domestically? Or does the spouse have to pay something? And does anything change if I’m flying with her or not?

I’m used to nonrev benefits since a parent works for a mainline (non pilot) but I was caught off guard thinking maybe my wife would have to pay? The lower priority I completely understand. Any help is appreciated!

Your wife will not need to pay if flying domestic and nothing changes if she's with travelling you or not. There is a yearly fee you pay when adding them to the benefits but that's it. You can expect it to be the same as you're used to, just significantly lower priority.

I understand the lower priority that OO receives, but do you generally find yourself able to occasionally get upgrades on personal travel?

Also, what’s a ballpark figure for the spouse’s annual enrollment fee?

Someone that's a current pilot here may be able to answer your question better, I'm still waiting for my class. But from what I've heard from friends I think it's $200. That might be only for Delta benefits as well, not positive. As far as upgrades on travel go, I had mainline American benefits from family and was only able to get first class a handful of times, however it does happen if you're going out on a relatively empty flight. It's not that uncommon to get a extra legroom or exit row seat though.

question for anybody. when listing a family member on united using payroll deduction, or paying for a zed fare if they don’t make the flight are you automatically refunded or do you have to pursue the refund?

Upgrades? Lol NO. Paying customers get upgraded. International they can’t upgrade seats, so guess who might get first class? Yeah it’s sweet when you fly internationally.

Domestic travel, you get the seat in the back, enjoy it because it’s free.

Peasant plus on delta is okay, I prefer to bribe gate agents with coffee and get first class on Alaska and enjoy the espresso flavored vodka with a few creamers 👌
