So your peanut brain has come to the conclusion that because I use some slang, that I am some loser millennial that has not done anything beyond get hired by a regional airline? At this point many people would state fact of their personal lives to show you in If you truly believe your own fantasies, I and many others pray you are not sitting in the left seat of an airliner.

No contradiction, I don’t care and continue to have no respect for the OO pilot group. Could that change if they chose to do away with the student council? Maybe, but in your hypothetical example I certainly am not offering you my appeasement just because you organized overnight.

There will always be some people so pro-union that they make ridiculous statements like this. Everyone in management and any industry or company not unionized are the scum of the earth. Yadda yadda. I can't say what people might say behind my back, but I've found that to my face, most folks do have a lot of respect for OO. I don't jumpseat too often, so I don't speak with mainline pilots frequently, but I've even had a mainline pilot recommend to me that I stay at OO rather than move to a legacy, expressing a wish that he had not chosen to move on, which surprised me simply given the pay disparity. I'm sure that pay alone puts pilots like him in a small minority, but I've had many more pilots tell me that SkyWest has a reputation as a good place to be than pilots making negative statements like the quote above.
One can be proud of their organization without insisting everyone should wish to be part of it. Doing so makes them wish to be part of it even less. You, Sir, are the joke.

To each his own I suppose. Once you realize that money over about $100k/year won't buy you anything that will actually make you happy for more than a short time, the world looks a lot different. Once you eliminate the money part, I guess the differences between mainline and regional flying come down to personal preference. Do you prefer fewer, longer legs to big cities or more, shorter legs to smaller cities where you're allowed to have dinner with your crew? No right answer. It just depends on the person.
