We want to see you both vanish and move on with this discussion.
My interest is where the 175s for AA will end up.
Since they were announced at the exact moment Compass went belly up, for the exact same number of planes Compass had, my WAG is LAX. AA already has established 175 operators everywhere else, with the exception of PHX. But the recent Mesa contract extension means Mesa isn’t moving over in PHX yet.
LAX becomes all 175, and the CRJs there come back east, primarily DFW & ORD.
Sound remotely intelligent?

But now, I'm not so sure. At this point I'm starting to lean toward the initial cadre going to ORD, and maybe even all 20. Undoubtedly we will see the 175 flow through DFW PHX LAX, but I'd bet all or most go to ORD, maybe a few in LAX. And if a few end up "based" in LAX, I would expect it to be more like how we're seeing DL CR9 starting and ending pairings in domiciles like ORD and FAT.
American really cut back in LAX. They were already working on a JV or codeshare with Alaska (I forget which, I think a codeshare). Prior to covid they were already planning on cutting our AA flights from LAX to places up and down the western coast, to be supplemented by Alaska codeshares on our ERJs. Not sure if this newer JetBlue agreement will impact our LAX routes, but between B6 and AS codesharing with AA, LAX really has never recovered since April. The little AA flying has been mostly PHX trips starting in LAX. A few routes have popped up that Compass was doing and that we were doing. SFO, OKC, DEN. And we started doing SLC again out of LAX. Looks like LAX-EUG is coming back too, haven't seen that since covid happened either. Anyway, if the 175 shows up in LAX my guess is that it would be a few and only on a few routes, more than likely flowing in and out of ORD and maybe DFW. I'm also leaning into mostly/all ORD because of how many ERJ crew are up there, and how many they're transitioning from CRJ to ERJ. Tons of CRJ flying in ORD lately has been on DL and not as much AA, and we're seeing a lot more AA flying in DFW and here in PHX. With 20 700s coming early 2021, I would expect those to be mostly DFW and some PHX. I could further see more of those CR7 coming down south to DFW and PHX as 175s come online and go to ORD. And then again, those will bounce around the AA hubs.
tldr: still a wild a$$ guess and it's anybody's game; AA decimated LAX and it never really came back and I doubt it will; ORD CR7 flying seems to be a lot less AA than in the past; I wouldn't be surprised to see most of our 175s go to ORD
p.s. if y'all ignore the kooj and don't reply to his obvious troll posts, he'll go away. I know y'all wont be able to control yourselves, but give it a shot

All jokes aside it would be a head scratcher to me if someone told me they just left SkyWest for Atlas.
It all depends on seniority number and QOL, but I can’t imagine QOL not becoming substantially worse for not much more pay making that career move.
