If you're using that as a stepping stone to FedEx, go for it. I know a half a dozen or so that do/have worked for Atlas. The ones that moved on all went to FedEx. The ones that haven't just deal with the schedule and the way they are treated.
Atlas employee care example: I had a gal in my NG Unit that was preparing to deploy, she's a 747 FO with Atlas. We had done all the employer notifications along the way for some training events and whatnot, and they had her departure date. She came off what was to be her last trip prior to deployment inside two weeks from her departure date, made it home and got a call the next morning to head to LA in a couple of days to pick up a trip that would return the day prior to her scheduled departure. Dick move.

Gouge
I can't wait for the gracious responses to this, but here it goes anyway...
Does anyone have the "good" gouge for CQ right now? Not just the blank PDF, but the one some FO puts together each year with great formatting and answers?

Well I’m the one that put together the “good gouge” (answers + answer doc/location) for the CRJ that is floating around this year...
Im hesitant to send anything over APC though.
When is your CQ?

Out of Pocket for ATP ride?
Currently a CFI sitting at 1500 hrs. Wanted to gauge opinions on here and see if anyone thought it would be worthwhile to go ahead and get my atp ride done if I had the opportunity at the school I'm working for? Do you see it giving me that much of a leg up? I realize things are constantly changing but if anyone has any advice, its greatly appreciated. I've asked some of my friends in the industry but considering how new they are to it I consider their input somewhat anecdotal and wanted to get some more opinions. Thanks.

If your school will give you an ATP... take it! Never turn down a free rating.
No one ever got turned down because they had too many items on their certificate.

The way I understand it, only the CTP course adds costs to the company since the ATP ride and the type rating are combined.
Thus, a future requirement may be to have the ATP written done already. But then again, who knows what is going to happen.
