I wasn't expecting to get IAH out of training. I'd just like to be there as soon as possible so I don't have to commute. I have no strong desire to fly one airframe over the other, so I was just hoping to pick whatever will get me there the quickest. If I choose CRJ initially, will I be screwed if ERJ FO turns out to be very junior?

Right now only about 37 FO’s have there bid in for IAH. And not all of them its there first choice..(24 with it as there first choice).. CRJ has 36 in with IAH as a bid.. 9 as there first choice… I would guess it would be about the same time wise.. except they will clear out most of the ERJ bid list on opening with the 30. Not leaving many on the waiting list…

That is incorrect. Obviously depends on the month and class makeup, but ERJ is doing 160/month.
Two simultaneous classes (morning and evening ground/matrix) of 40 each two weeks.
The ERJ is maxed out on classes and the training dept is working crazy hours to keep up with demand.
