I've heard the 200 new hires per month split 50/50 between the two types more than once. Anyone know what the max size is per training class?

Same deal, heard from LCA recently 200 a month split between both types with a target of about 7000 pilots on property in next 12-18 months. True? No idea.

wonder what they will do with all these pilots when delta variant and the ones to follow put the airline industry back into turmoil

I ran into someone today with good knowledge of the new hire class size’s.

4 class’s per month, 60-80 per class (2 ERJ, 2 CRJ per month). Obviously as stated prior, full until March, but obviously spots may open as CJO holders decide on another regional.
