I hear that, since Boeing now owns Jepp & Foreflight, that the guts of FD Pro are slowly being replaced by Foreflight code. Eventually Foreflight will overtake FD Pro and Jeppesen will really just be the charting provider.
All that to say....moving map on Foreflight was about a 2006 feature....so lots of cool improvements should be yet to come!

The steady improvements have been very welcome and the continued trend towards a more ForeFlight-focused app is fine by me.

SkyWest was my first experience with FDPro and it was ok. I’m at JetBlue now and we have wayyy more options in our FDPro and it’s wonderful. Really don’t miss ForeFlight.

i believe the primary reason is that FD Pro allows custom charts. Yes, airlines have their airline specific charts and even airlines specific approaches, e.g. silver ILS in Reno. I don’t think ForeFlight accommodates that.

“ForeFlight Mobile for flight planning, charts, weathers , airport information, document management, flight logging, synthetic vision, and more.”
Airlines would need a reason to get ditch their currently approved and proven methods and means but wait, there’s more!

That's just a recruiting technique to be allow recruiting tools to find candidates that list Atlanta as the search city. Don't read to much into it other than that. I think I saw a few other cities listed like that when I was applying last year.
