CommutAir getting a pay raise and commuter hotels. Are we going to be the last ones to raise the pay? You'd think with the attrition happening the company would want to do something to retain.

Highly doubt it considering commutair raises bring them to our current pay scale.

Any limitations with using CASS/KCM when we get it in week 2 of GS? Some people saying can only jumpseat on OO flights, can’t use KCM til after LOE, etc. Any insight?

Being last isn't always the worst thing. It gives the company a chance to soundly beat all others in their next proposal - which I strongly suspect will be coming out a lot sooner than we all may expect given the current climate.

Don't think so. I was able to JS on Delta mainline prior to LOE, and repeatedly used KCM before then.

Their new F/O rate is roughly 8.00/hr more than SkyWest’s “current” year 1 F/O rate, let alone sign on bonuses. If SkyWest waits “too long” these CFI’s will go where the $$$$ is. The current population of 1500TT Pilots is dwindling fast, due to the flight schools being shut down in 2020 for 6-8 months due to Covid. Regionals in general, are about to see the applicant pool shrink and stay shrunk for awhile to come.

We're on the same page. SkyWest needs to jack up the pay, but we know they wont until they're absolutely forced. They're going to try anything else first and drag it out.

Potential new hires are so excited about this C5 news there hasn’t been a post in the commutair thread yet today.

It would be more the Aviate students that are excited. It makes them the highest paid Aviate Region to date.
