Spots are opening up and even more spots opening due to longer wait times.
It really depends on covid. We should know more in the next couple weeks as we go into the fall viral surge.

How early to apply???

Any advice how far out to apply before hitting minimums? I’m seeing class dates as late as February which is when I project to hit mins. I’m coming right up on my 1000 hour mark

I'd apply now if you're under 100 hours left to meet minimums or as soon as you hit that mark. The CEO briefed last week that classes are full through the end of March now, so that should give you time to finish the last bit. Keep updating the application as you finish your hours if you haven't gotten a call. No idea how many apps SkyWest still has in the hiring pool.

I applied two weeks ago and still have heard nothing. I’m wondering if they’re still even interviewing folks with classes full that far out.

I was a restricted as well, applied at 600 total time and interviewed the next month. Just get your app in.

If this information helps... I interviewed about a week ago. Got an email a few days later with a CJO and a March class date. If you are within a hundred to two hundred hours I would apply and interview soon as your CJO (I believe) is tied to your seniority number.

They're interviewing everyday. I'm sure they're still sifting through a bunch of apps. I applied in march and didn't hear anything until july. The waiting game sucks but it's just the game we gotta play.
