Not initial.
If you transition or upgrade, then yes.

Think about it this way, you’re not actually a pilot at Skywest until you can fly the line.

At least your hotel is paid for… in the past training was all self-funded.

No need to study anything until you have access to all the docs you need. I’m referring to specifically those 5 days while doing CBTs before GS, start looking at limitations. Before CTP only worry about studying for the written and then enjoy how easy that week will be lol. During indoc only worry about the indoc validation, make sure you get your systems CBTs done afterwards and then if you have time I’d recommend start reviewing the limitations in the SOPM. Once you get your EFB there’s a doc to get access to a company made quizlet

Make sure you have a decent understanding of the systems as well, because the CBTs are the only time its covered. Systems aren't tested on the GV though
Can you give a footprint for what CRJ training looks like? How many days are indoc, then 5 days of CBT’s, then back for GS? Just looking for some info on how long each phase of training lasts and what you do during those phases?

6 days of indoc, 5 days to finish CBTs, fly to SLC the day before ground school starts, ground school 10 days (mon-fri, wknds off), sim 15 days with 5-9 off (depending on schedule), ioe 2-3 weeks.

Awesome thanks. Where are the validations in there? Indoc is a written validation? What is the validation after GS? And then sims are the MV and LOE?

What are the validations along the way and what do they entail?

Tried replying to this twice but didn't look like it worked, so apologies if it triples posts eventually.....can you explain a little about where the various validations are and what's involved with them, and what the acronyms are for them? I've seen things like "KV" be thrown around on the thread

Any idea how long it takes to hear back after interview? It's only been a week, but the wait is so brutal lol. I've had my sights on SKW for years
