Just about every FO I’ve flown with the last two months has a class elsewhere.

can’t blame them. Company is stuck in the last decade. Pretty sure they will come up with a plan just as the last aircraft is parked in the dessert. Shrinkage is last years word, this company is headed for closure. |

This is what shrinking looks like:
July 1 2022 size: 5230 August 1 2022 size: 5160 Net change: -70 CA gone: 114 FO gone: 99 Total: 213 |

considering the training plan moving into fall/winter, with 3 more sims online. And increasing class sizes. The plan is not to shrink...
30 upgrades awarded in August not because that’s all they needed!! You can now upgrade into freaking San Diego with less than 1 year seniority. Any base you want it’s yours from the left seat. We’ll continue to lose 100+ Captains a month, and maybe upgrade 20-30. FO’s leaving with less than 1,000 hours makes the situation even worse. They mentioned it in the earnings call, hiring new FO’s will never be a problem, but having enough body’s in the left seat WILL BE A PROBLEM. The scariest part, $200 an hour for Captains won’t stop most of us from leaving to a Major. It’s going to require drastic measures. My favorite part of this is Delta attempting to meter OO captains, so they leave for Southwest instead, and in the process have destroyed pilot moral that’s already low to begin with. |

That doesn’t mean anything with our current situation. Go look at the standing bid list for upgrades. They literally have nobody left to upgrade and that’s not even considering most of those standing bids are FO's without the time.

I can't imagine a world where they thought this was going to go over well. It's mind boggling. Why would anyone stay here when you know they're going to do this to you.
1. Complete 180 from current plan. Pay more, better QOL guarantees, certain career progression, or make OO a career destination with pay and QOL. 2. Long term training contract from date of hire to guarantee OO you will be locked in as a captain working for them for a minimum amount of time. or a deep recession combined with massive travel demand drop changes current career outlook |
Haven’t been here a year (Oct) and 2,000 pilots above me on the seniority have left
