My guess is 25%.

If the “long term sustainable” offer doesn’t excite people I expect that things will get lonely around here fast…

there is nothing OO can offer to make you stay if you have an offer from pretty much anyone else. They might be able to curb ULCC attrition for a guaranteed spot at a legacy / WN / UPS / FedEx but nothing else would convince me to stay.

I don't think they can even curb the ULCC path. Too many people, myself included, received legacy interview invites after getting the airbus type from the ULCCs. Everyone should be trying to leave OO by any path they can, U/LCC, Big 6.

I’m seeing some doom and gloom here and would like to solicit opinions if possible. I chose SkyWest because I live at a relatively junior base and I am currently unable to relocate. If it helps I’ve been given the ERJ. I have several offers from other regional airlines but everyone except Piedmont has class dates pushed out until next year. I guess this narrows down my choices to SkyWest or Piedmont. My concern with the WO is the 50 seater and the commute to PHL which I’ll likely get assigned. If there’s any other information I should provide to help just ask. I’m obviously new to the 121 side and appreciate all of the assistance I can get.

What base?

Only thing Skywest has in this argument is the ability to sit reserve from your house, which I can't imagine will be long either place.

I’m desiring IAH.

Is anyone actually getting Long Call Reserve?

IAH is moderately senior on the ERJ FO side just FYI. At this time no one in my class was able to hold it out of training. You could probably hold it within a few months after training.

That surprised me a bit- thought it was more junior. I’m also hoping for IAH. Family roots will keep me in Texas.

Senior and small. Only 40 FOs.

That said, senior is relative when we’re losing 200+ people a month. You should be able to hold IAH in less than a year. Maybe 6 months.
