Right, I’m not expecting to get it right out of training and my interviewer mentioned a few months at least. I guess I’ll have to take into consideration the possible base I might get assigned and how that commute would compare to IAH-PHL at Piedmont and each company’s QOL as a commuter.

I’m seeing some doom and gloom here and would like to solicit opinions if possible. I chose SkyWest because I live at a relatively junior base and I am currently unable to relocate. If it helps I’ve been given the ERJ. I have several offers from other regional airlines but everyone except Piedmont has class dates pushed out until next year. I guess this narrows down my choices to SkyWest or Piedmont. My concern with the WO is the 50 seater and the commute to PHL which I’ll likely get assigned. If there’s any other information I should provide to help just ask. I’m obviously new to the 121 side and appreciate all of the assistance I can get.

I thought CommutAir was advertising quick class dates/ training timeframe and they have an IAH base.

So SAPA met yesterday to vote on whether or not to send the package to us. Now how long until we hear?

if course they will send it to the pilot group. They are busy polishing power points right now for the sell job.
To be fair at least they sent it back the first time rather than waste everyone’s time with an overwhelming no vote. |

I heard from a reliable source we are converting to an all dash 8-100 fleet and pay rates will top out at $47/hour for CAs.
FOs will be unpaid and will be required to pay the CA’s $47/hour. |
