I’m asking in all seriousness. I will need to fly as much as possible to make ends meet. LAX is a total sh!thole but would work better for me. DEN would be a close second as far as convenience. So whichever would allow me to fly more...

I think you answered your own question... If you really don’t like LAX for whatever reason, then go somewhere else.
If you like sunshine, great weather, great beaches, great food, being in the culture capital of the world, and having so much to do that you’ll never get a chance to do it all, then I would recommend LA. If you prefer a small town with nothing to do, there are plenty of places for that.
I was born and raised in Texas. Been in SoCal the last 7 years and I will never leave!

I’ve lived in LA my whole 40 years of life. I don’t enjoy it much anymore. I’ve never really visited, nor worked in Denver. We’re relocating to Arizona later this year if all goes as planned.

For a major hub, LAX is a pretty nice airport all things considered from a pilot perspective. Worst part is the parking bus, which is N/A if you commute or just pay for more convenient parking like many do. I avoided it only for that reason.

The big issue I would have being based and living there is the drive into LAX. I haven’t been based there but I have heard it can be a cluster. Maybe someone can give some idea about how long it takes from arriving at the parking lot to getting past security. Something to consider if on short call reserve.
