Lol doesn’t matter to me you all should choose your path but the only element you guys are really missing is Gloria Allred signing up a bunch of female Skywest pilots for a class... You folks are playing with fire. Especially posting all this crap on here you know all of the data this site collects on each of you is very likely discoverable as well....

Posting facts. Stating opinions. Is that now illegal?
All you have is a union that is not acting in your best interest, being dishonest with you and guys that been around a while telling you how things have worked in the past. You don’t think we’ve faced battles of our own at your stage of the game?
Take it or leave it.

SAPA leadership doesn't want to give up a good deal, and when presented with the fait accompli they retreat to their room and spend a few months hatching a juvenile plan.
SAPA leadership executes said juvenile plan when UA ALPA isn't impressed by their breath holding and threats.
SAPA leadership sends as letter to Skywest pilots that is chock full of lies, misrepresentations, and false threats. I'll admit the letter might seem intimidating to a novice or uninformed pilot.
Skywest pilots are faced with a choice:
1) Put total faith in their leadership and 'toe the line',
2) See the strategy and letter for what they are, then challenge their leadership behind the scenes prior to 15Oct to effect change,
3) See the strategy, letter, AND SAPA leadership for what they are and ignore the ill advised direction. With the clear eyed understanding that the threats of FAA action are simply BS,
4) Salivate at the opportunity to flex your chicken wings and fight the big bad pilot union (that would be you),
5) Have wet dreams about the epic clash and even go so far as to create a new screen name on a pilot forum to show how anonymously tough (s)he is (also you).
Based on the feedback UA ALPA is getting from the line (we are after all a real union that has real union mechanisms) you are very much in the minority in your own pilot group. The game isn't over yet, but you appear to be losing. Badly.
Have a few UA pilots gotten out ahead of the union? Probably. I'll admit that it is irritating to see the behavior of SAPA and the desire to smash you like a bug is very strong. In the end we will operate as a cohesive union because we know that OUR leadership has wisdom, patience, an eye on the big picture, and most importantly - OUR best interests front and center. You can't say the same about SAPA.
As you position gets weaker and weaker I expect your post count to rise in protest and anguish. You will threaten, blame, lie, and generally flail like the loser you are. Eventually you will put this screen name to bed and disappear. At least until the next losing battle emerges.
