from tpg: “One positive note: United is likely to keep few of the all-economy regional jets with 50 seats — the Bombardier CRJ200 and Embraer ERJ-145 — after the crisis, said Kirby. These aircraft, while common on routes to small cities, are unpopular with travelers.”
This is an almost meaningless statement.
1. If you have to downguage routes due to reduced demand you park 777s, not 200s/145s
2. Since when does UA gaf whether an airplane is popular with travelers.
Unless there is some substance that I can’t see on FB along the lines of we’re bringing 175E2s on for mainline pilots to fly, or alpa has voted to cave on scope - there’s going to be at least the same or higher proportion of routes flown in 200s a year from now.

OO covered those routes in April because of a last minute schedule swap.

he has said it three times now. Deny all you want, but that’s the path they’ve chosen.

but then again. If you know anything about prorate you will know the operating airline pays for all the marketing..i do see all “fee for departure” 50 seat aircraft departing UA’s flying.. but there will be some city's added to prorate... But most routes upgaged and less frequency...
