Next up: all CRJ routes converted to Uber. I mean an Uber usually carries more pax in one trip than our airplanes are currently doing...

you are dr doom and I get that. I just control what I can and try not to worry about the rest. Nobody knows how this will shake out yet so why even try speculating?

why do you even bother to comment then? Wishing things better won’t make them so. I’m not Dr Doom. I just see the reality of the sh!tshow that’s coming.

If that was the reality, and that's subjective, why do you comment too? To emphasize how bad things are?. That negativity is as bad as irrational optimistim. Extremes are never good, and you're an extremist.

on the contrary, I’m an optimist. People ask me all the time why I’m a glass half empty kind of guy when we all know the glass is totally empty. I see only a 30% cut in airline sizes while most people predict 50% or more. I guess I’m just hopeful. People who come here seriously can’t be expecting any good news now, can they? There isn’t any. Probably won’t ever see a vaccine. It’s time to embrace reality and stop dreaming.

You hopeful? "Probably won’t ever see a vaccine". Don't think so.

still no vaccine for the common cold. Or AIDS. Or most forms of the flu. And it’s hit and miss at that with the flu. Why will this be any different? It won’t. Get used to the new reality of the airline profession. Loads way down and teleconferencing is the future. Vacation airlines like spirit and allegiant have a chance. Airline like DL and UA and their feeders that rely on
business travelers are toast and destined to shrink

You just admitted you have no clue about vaccinations.

This is different, because it's a single virus strand that your body will form antibodies against after an infection. Developing a vaccination against something like this is well understood science.
Comparing it to HIV (AIDS is a disease you dumdum) just shows you know nothing about what you are talking about.

I don’t think you believe this stuff yourself. You’re just looking to bum people out.
