A month ago offered CRJ in mid may, ERJ late july. I took the ERJ, been a few weeks, no word on waitlist. Guess the 6 month waiting game is for real. Not sure that a lot of pilots will stick around for that long of a wait.

Yeah I’ve been on the waitlist for a few months now to no avail. It’s really tough to be patient but at this point I’m committed to waiting haha. Hopefully the difference between starting 3 months earlier at a different company won’t make a drastic impact on a career path to the majors someday, but nobody can predict the future I guess!

Just realize there is a backlog of IOE and chance of training delays currently at OO. You could always interview and see if another company has a faster path to start time and getting through training but I am guessing all regionals have the same challenge currently getting people through training.

Has anyone had luck being able to start sooner after requesting a wait list? How much sooner was it? Is it a rare offering?

I’ve been on the waitlist for a few months now and haven’t heard anything but I’ve had a lot of friends get moved up. I’d be interested to hear if people have been getting moved up recently because it sounds like they’re prioritizing captain upgrades now

It'll run Tue-Fri, then the following Mon and Tue. Indoc test (100 multiple choice questions) will be Tuesday morning and then you'll have a few additional briefs before being released to get all of the CBT's done on your own. Ground school should start the following Monday if the schedules remain intact. It's been all over the map lately, so what happened last month may not be the same as next.

Just take a lot of patience with you and you'll be fine.

I begin training soon, and an email I received from ATP said I should expect to finish ATP-CTP on a Monday, with my indoc being the following Tuesday morning in SLC. Is that a normal timeframe? This just has me a bit concerned about the possibility of not being able to make it over to SLC in time. Obviously if it really seems to be an issue I’ll contact my recruiter but I just wanted to get a few thoughts here in the meantime. Thanks!

Are you expected to stay for CBT’s or can you go home and do that? Just curious.
