It’s genius. Skywest gets to hire 250 hour FOs and indoctrinate them into the regime before they go to other regionals. Takes care of their hiring issues without having to raise pay.

if you had a union and a CBA you could have gone on strike for a status quo violation… too bad too many thought alpa wasn’t worth it

I was just saying the other day if they wanted to get pilots in their pipeline faster they should go attempt to buy Boutique, Surf, Southern Airways Express/ Mokulele ( and now Air Choice One) and use them as a 250 pipeline. Structure some sort of completion bonus and training bond schedule that keeps people interested in staying there until a point until they get pulled up to the 121 operation. Surprised this took so long to materialize
