Objectively, I do a recall a couple ALPA advocates back in the day who took it to the level of religious extremism. Easier to hero worship something when you don't have any experience with it. But that would all self-correct if it got voted in.

I am talking about many current ALPA members, not potential ones.

I have quite a fan base of those exact nutcases I speak of here on APC thanks to comments I made.

my take, for the industry generally, nothing specific to SW, will be a bi/tri-furcation
1) FO wages will reflect supply >> demand
2) captain wages will be be strong
3) LCA wages will continue on par with the majors
FO's are really a renewable resource and the company is doing then a favor with every hour accrued. At the other end, LCA's are a precious commodity that command career wages. Captains are in-between

It's not a SkyWest thing, it is a current state of the industry thing. As was said in the previous post, pilots that want to get into the 121 world right now are beyond plentiful. A couple of years ago all the regionals were fighting over the same pilots to come be a FO for them, there were not enough for everyone to meet their demand. Right now, complete opposite, there are more pilots available with apps in than there is demand for new FOs at the regionals.
