And the FL200 restriction is going away...
Most people turn the Autopilot on somewhere between 10-20K'. It's almost never turned on down low.
For visuals it's usually off when cleared for it. Pilots using the autopilot on a visual for turning base and final are the rare exception. It's a trait usually reserved to pilots new in the aircraft as that's what they're use to doing in the sim.
-- at least in the CRJ - I've no idea what the 175 crowd does.

Does anyone know what the training schedule is like for someone who already has a cl-65 type?

I picked CRJ. Delta benefits and as more 175's come on line people will leave the CRJ to the 175. If your a FO in the 175 this means someone with a senior line number will keep bumping you back down. Tougher to make Capt.
On the CRJ side this opens up upgrade opportunities. People are less likely to leave the 175 to upgrade I the CRJ so the CRJ FO's will upgrade quicker. At least, that's the theory...
I like hand flying the plane anyway.

Um no. If you choose the 175 to start out, you realize you can upgrade to the CRJ when your company wide seniority can hold it. Yes, you'll have to work a little harder to learn a new aircraft and upgrade at the same time, which is a challenge. But for a month or two, we had CRJ FO's getting captain slots on the 175 that were junior to CRJ captains. As of now, the CRJ is back to being more junior upgrade, but only by a few months.

So we are told during our pay negotiations that the reason Horizon was not included in our comparison was because they fly Q-400's and we fly jets. But now QX pilots are being told they need to take a 14% reduction in pilot costs and 28% company wide to compete with us. So we now know at least one of the reasons they were in such a hurry to get a deal done. Maybe someone needs to tell QX management that they can't compare them to SW because we fly different equipment??
I am just so shocked that pay rates are not everything and that another pilot group could make as much as 14% more on QOL items and other benefits. /sarcasm
We may have felt like we didn't take any concessions on our pay package, but obviously we are not raising the bar and have set a lower threshold for Alaska lift. Or at least 66% of us did.

I keep telling you guys that you have the most leverage than any other regional, yet you continue to do "nothing" about it. Your pay and work rules should be better than Air Wisconsin.

I am not saying we couldn't have got more, but you saying we're doing nothing for the industry is just stupid. Half of our pilots have come from your so well respected alpa carriers and that's why it is so hard to get anyone to even look at a union here. If alpa ever actually makes progress with the regionals it represents it might be different, but until then I'll keep my 2% while they take pay cuts for aircraft.

So let me get this straight..... We do nothing to help the industry and yet every TA or offer that has come out over the past year has been compared to our agreement.

That's precisely why I put the word "nothing" in quotation marks. All TAs get compared to everything else. You can get more, especially in your anemic benefits, retirement, and some work rules.
As for ALPA, I didn't say anything about ALPA. But if you think places like Mesa, TSA, gojet, envoy, and XJT would be better off without a union, then you are dreaming. Just as you guys could do better with a union. It doesn't even have to be ALPA or 2%. But alas, you guys will continue to roll over when you actually have more than any other regional pilot group could ever dream of getting.

Why do you have to make this personal?
