Well don't take my word for it. Just look at the financial reports INC puts out and what they think the fleet will look like over the next five years. Management says they'll park the 200s and they have not secured any flying to replace them as yet. That's what they tell the investors on Wall Street.
Now you guys that work in recruiting sing a different tune, but I guess that's to be expected.
Tell me, do your job duties include posting on this website or do you just do it for free? (and for those new to the thread envy us is not a pilot)

Does anyone know if the increase to $30/hr for first year pay affected the number of applications Skywest has received? Any idea if mgmt will go to $36.50 sooner then later?

Curious what you guys are flying out of KPSP these days. I think the 120's are gone aren't they? Maybe not.
Thanks
Thanks

Base only has about 50 pilots on the RJ, but that is more than we had at the beginning of the year with RJ and EMB combined. Not sure what the trips are like (majority 4 days like every other base?) but 2/15 hire is the plug.

From my understanding if you want the 175 you are going to be waiting till November or December. They opened up a few spots for September, because they had so many people come into the 175.
You hit the line or reserve when you are done with IOE, however long that is running right now.

Wait until Nov or Dec? What do you know about Oct classes? How many people go through a 175 class at a time, and how often do they run anyway? 2 classes/month? And do you go straight from sims to IOE or is there a long wait? I saw some other post about a long wait, but I wasn't sure if that applied to initial hires, or if that was for Captain IOE?
Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for the tip.
The last email I received stated that anyone interviewing now would most likely be waiting until A minimum of November to possibly January to get a 175 class.
That is Due to the number of sims available, upgrades, transitions, and new hires.
That is also dependent on having the option to choose airframe.....
Not sure if applicants are still given a choice right now.
