Would Skywest ever lower their multi minimums?

I doubt it. They're giving new hires an ATP and/or PIC type, so they have to have ATP mins now.

Is there a multi minimum for the ATP? I don't think so, but is very early in the morning

As someone who has to ride in the back going to and from work I sincerely hope not.

No, but learning how to fly a multi probably isn't a good idea when you're getting a PIC type. They want you to be very prepared. That being said, both the Brasilia and CRJ initials are extremely well done. Everybody in the training department wants you to be successful, and they give you all the tools to do so.

If you wanna be out west, take the EMB first year and transition to the jet after the seat lock is up. It pays the same and will give you a lot of rich flying experience. Taking the jet and hoping the music doesn't stop is a pretty big gamble. More often than not it pays to be careful in this business

In less than a year someone can have a guaranteed line in SFO, LAX, PSP, and FAT on the Brasilia. I will never understand why so many people fight to get on the RJ right away then complain about being stuck in ORD or MSP when they want to live in LA. Especially since the pay is the same first year.

Looking at the list as it is now, a year in any of those bases, yes.

I was talking to the #3 guy in PSP on the Bro last week. He's been here 1y 4m. Gets whatever he wants.
My buddy in SFO has a year and gets pretty much whatever he wants, and another 4 months in in FAT is #1 RSV. Gets his pick of RSV lines. Another couple months and he'll be a solid line.

getting your pick of reserve lines is like getting your pick of the fat chicks left over at the bar

Not true at all. I'm on RSV, live in base (born and raised in Chicago), house is 45 minutes from the airport and I get all weekends off. 30-50 hrs of flying per month and I'm getting paid for 75. Yeah, not so bad. I try to look at the bright side of everything.
