175 bases are ORD, DEN, SFO, PDX, and SEA. CRJ has those plus many more. Right now 175 is junior for upgrade but which aircraft you pick now doesn't have any bearing to when you'll upgrade.

MSP and ORD will have the least amount of reserve. Those are also the junior bases right now for upgrade. Who knows what it will be several years down the road.
How long does it take right now to hold SEA, PDX or DEN for the 175? Which bases are operating the Alaska fleet?

Yep, they will only positive space you from a domicile. I argued pretty hard with them before I started working there and finally gave up and just bought a ticket to SLC. I knew going to the airlines was going to be full of BS, didn't think it was going to start before day 1 though.

Latest upgrade bid has MSP CA at 3.7 followed by ORD ERJ at 3.8 years... All newhires in the July CRJ class got MSP based.. PDX/SEA 175 bases just realy started July 1 with Alaska flying 3 of 16 airplanes by next year. That should be a easy thing to hold if you get the ERJ..
This is from a letter from Alaska Airlines to those using the travel privileges in their system. Is it accurate that SkyWest employees and dependants are priority 1 for their system?

Yeah, I see I missed the "on OO operated flights" part. Makes sense to me too.

Anyone in the last new hire classes know what happened last week? Looks like we had quite a few in the CRJ class drop off and a couple in the ER7 class missing off the seniority list. Did we have a bunch of no-shows or something?

For those already on property. SAPA president voting begins today. The last election was pretty sad with how the turnout was. Bios are available on the SAPA forum. I have no idea who I'm voting for yet, but please make sure you vote!
