I think people stopped voting because they realized it's all a dog and pony show. You are essentially voting in company mouthpieces these days.

You mean that last election where we didn't have any reps that wanted to throw their hat in the ring? I thought that was pretty sad.

Seems like a good group running, but IMO with how these last pay "negotiations" have been going, it is pretty evident how the company views our representation.

You could always make it official and get sapa be your NMB recognized bargaining agent. The company will view your representation much differently at that point. And that's because they would be required to by federal law.

But we have an open door policy where we can just walk into anyone's office with our concerns. If we made SAPA official, we would lose the ability to bring up our concerns that management could just ignore, or better yet, get you labeled as a troublemaker. /sarcasm

Interesting read about United, but has absolutely nothing to do with us or our business model. I've always said it will be interesting to see how much this group is willing to lose before they realize this isn't the SW of the early to mid 2000's.

We are hiring anybody that has the minimums and a pulse.

Unfortunately, many of them can't fly and are getting fired.

Training is cracking down on extra sessions and are cutting the rope early.

And yes it's a PRIA event.

Choose your regional carefully!
