Read the letter on SAPA. Apparently it was more than one individual. Seriously. Don't post someone's address and info. Who cares what someone's background is?

I think people would be surprised at how many people log on to that thing to get the scuttlebutt.

Weak move.

There must be a lot of thin skinned nancy's or first time innerwebers in SLC if they got offended by that gentle forum.
Posting pics of a guys house I suppose is a bit far though.

If you want another union drive, you guys are going to have to do it on your own. There are websites out there to show you what the process is. Or maybe the Teamsters will help you?

I don't think ALPA would touch us with a 100 foot pole 😂 there will never be a union at SkyWest. Not until the current generation of lifers retire.

On another note....stock up 2.6%???? 😳😳

Default Threatening?

I read the post and re-read it, and I can't seem to find any threats. Someone said, 'I'm a regular line FO from DEN'. The response, 'Then why do you live in a 4 million dollar house in Aspen? Most regular FO's aren't complaining about their wine bottles not fitting properly in the newly constructed wine cellar.' As far as personal info being posted, it was the FAA that posted his address and the FO self-posted his name. The two were simply connected via the Landings database. Anyone on planet earth could do the exact same thing and get the exact same results. He didn't post it on APC. It was on a closed forum and everyone who had access to the forum could have found the same info in about 2 minutes. I think the 'regular line FO' just got a little butt-hurt over someone calling him on his BS. He just can't distinguish between threatened and embarrassed. As far as the alleged death threats, I call bull on that. And if there have been some, they should be criminally prosecuted. Shouldn't be hard to do since there's an electronic footprint on everything we do......but there weren't any threats.
SkyWest has a L O N G history of circulating letters like this during pay talks or union drives. One pilot was issued a warning for TOS violations for simply mentioning one of the letters circulated during a union drive. What it all boils down to, the SAPA forums have become an effective tool for those who choose to refrain from Kool-aid consumption, and so they needed to go.

I would say to be cautious to paint all of us "lifers" with the same broad brush.

I'm at 20+ years, and I will vote in representation the first chance I have.

And I've voted NO on the last 4 pay packages.

I've been in contact with ALPA. They absolutely will commit to help us. But first they want to see that there is a commitment to help ourselves. I agree with this philosophy as the previous drives were run by outsiders guiding a few pilots inside of our group. What we need is a much larger group of skywest pilots who are getting advice and information from a much smaller group of ALPA organizers. Maybe it's time to take skywest to court and contest sapa existence (the previous lawsuit was over FUNDING not the legality of Sapa itself). But that can come later.

Let's take control of our future and tell Sapa/management (currently proven to be basically the same....at least the executive board) we are going to get some real legal assistance that is going to help us get a real legal contract (enforceable) and a completely SEPERATE representative group.

Step up and volunteer PM me here for contact info if you don't already have it. We need to get 300 plus volunteers for a winning organizing drive.
