EFBs are coming, surface 3 with LTE, they are sitting in HQ, in the meantime we use ship sets that are always in the plane and updated

Chicago is most junior base for ERJ and a close second to MSP on the CRJ

What would the most junior lines holder's hire date be in ORD and MSP?

Mercyful,

It's time for you to switch to a role in Maintenance. They hold all the cards right now. And for the foreseeable future.

For September MSP had 0 reserve lines. So that means yes, every single pilot had a line. ORD has 7 reserve pilots for the entire month. Both bases are being awarded to new hires and yes CS will TDY reserves from other bases into MSP. Or just assign a deadhead into the base to fly and round trip and deadhead home.

Again, CS feels that they are not getting their money out of a reserve pilot unless they fly exactly 75.5 hours per month. Doesn't matter if it takes 16 hour days and all 20 days per month to get that.

Apparently TG wants the clock to start with wheel movement and SAPA is listening to the company, like they always do.

If this happens, we are giving back at least 5% of the industry misleading TA we just got!

Edit-just found it. For more see MM comments on sapa. It looks like that's for block calculations only and not pay.

Doesnt "wheel movement" language already exist?

Anyway, even if it's not for pay, it'll reduce your 'flight time' for 117 purposes.

Thanks for the info. If I'm lucky enough to interview and then get the job, a line straight out of training would be amazing!!

It may be doable but it's a terrible idea, at least until you're in CASS and can jumpseat. Too risky to trust your job in the hands of the load factor gods.
