I think One guy just likes to play sour-grapes sentinel guard, the rest are just chit chatting nicely.
Or maybe they are playing a game.

Well, one captain was very nice, laughing joking, if I was weak on a question he would help me along, then another CA, who did another portion of the interview was very bellicose, antagonistic, just kept digging, even when he didnt need to he also seemed like a nice guy that was acting; I searched skywest good cop bad cop and found one other reference to this tactic here on APC, and the other guys I interviewed w agreed. Thoughts?

Just FYI. You can show up with a watermelon hat and paper bags for shoes and still be Skywest material. That's directly from the hiring dept.

I think I had the same group, all made me feel comfortable. Seems like a long time to wait to hear how it went. I was told on the spot.

Do you have the option to chose a class date when hired

Generally yes, they will give you a few options based on what's available.

Does anyone know how long the break is between indoc and ERJ systems class? Also, when are CASS and flight benefits activated?

In my CRJ class there was a 16-hour break between Indoc and Systems Day 1.

CASS takes about 2–3 weeks to be activated, if I recall correctly. Flight benefits, about 10 days. I nonrev'd home on United my first weekend of Indoc, only to discover after I returned to class that somehow a few of us had gotten away with it...our flight benefits had been mistakenly activated too early. United never bothered anyone about it, though.
