Wow, Denver went from 5 CRJ FO lines in December to 29 CRJ FO reserve lines in January.

Thanks Richard. I know what backfilling is. But when ORD has consistently had ~10 to 15 reserve lines for the past several months, to suddenly drop that much is a little disconcerting, especially in Jan.

No it's not . As soon as the next new hire class hits the line in the coming days/weeks they will be put on reserve in whatever domicile is most junior at your airline. That's how airlines work. If you knew what backfilling was, you wouldn't be Saying stupid things

Next month the ERJ in ORD has 50% reserve coverage. This is the most reserves I have seen since 08.
