Skywest
This is exactly what they are going to do. Not only will flying be covered much further in advance, but it's also going to save them a bunch of money covering stuff at 15% bonus instead of 50%. Not sure how anyone saw this as a good idea. Anyone rejoicing about the extra money their making is greatly missing the bigger picture.
2/3 OO pilots thought it was a good deal. Personally, I was losing my mind. I don't know how many people gave me **** for how vocal I was against the contract.
Even our damn FAs were like "will you shut up about the pay vote already?" Of course, these are the same chicks who ***** about how little they get paid and how ****ty they're treated 😝
The company is just doing what companies do. I don't hold it against them at all. The problem with OO is not, and never has been, management. It's the apathetic pilot group that smiles at the thought of signing away their souls for a bowl of soup and a good old Mormon pat on the back!!

He preaches about how we need more PBS training but he's totally unwilling to actually use his knowledge to train people. He just uses his knowledge to brag about his knowledge.

Um... Not my company, but did you guys just say you're going to offer overtime at a 15% premium???
Please, please tell me I misunderstood that...
Yeah, pretty please.
(We really don't want it unless it's 200%, but it's down to 150% the last six months or so.)

It's still 150% inside of 72 hours. Outside of that its some escalating scale of 115-130-150% based on how far it is out. Used to be straight time until 3 days prior. We had 200% last Jan, but they don't like going there.

Geesh... We don't like going there either. (It's essentially disappeared, but there's nothing less than 150%.)
