Hello gentlemen/ gentleladies: This is my first time on this forum, however, I have read several of the most recent pages. I have also read several other posts on other forums. I must say that this is the winiest group I have seen. You all took the job knowing or you should have known a pilot's, life at a regional for the most part sucks. Its a stepping-stone to a major and the company knows it and treats the pilots accordingly. The pilots act accordingly and don't make the union stand up to the company. If you don't like your lot in life change it. Become a union rep and fight for your fellow pilots; move to another airline; or do something else. You all need to grow a pair and do something positive. An outsider looking in.

Who let you out from under the bridge. Union? What Union. You do know what SkyWest is right? This is Joe Smiths airline sir. We have a whole tab on the company website warning us about the unholy unions other heathens participate in. My meaty clackers think you need a life and should take your own advice; do something positive: don't speak again.

You are what is wrong with the regional industry. Your are flying people around to the same airports in Jets, and you have the same qualifications as the mainline pilots, but you think regionals are a stepping stone. A regional pilot is a career and should be treated so it the industry will never attract new pilots.

Don't forget the last puzzle to the irony:

Delta or United might claim we're not worthy of their seniority list or their operation, but guess who flies their passengers already??

Does this mean that a new hire desiring LAX base would have to wait at least 10 months to get it?
