Call recap.. My take.
For those woried about the crj700's leaving. they just anounced on the conferance call that they have secured all 20 coming off United 2016 contract..all have beed spoken for.. Looks like SkyWest grows big with 175's (34~in 2016) and moves 700's to other partners.. and a few 200's going away...and XJT losses a few airplanes (20 E145's but has the option to extend) but no growth..and its all based on pilot availability.. Xjt still losses money in 2016. But not as much as 2014/15.. Not involved in AS 175's there buying for QX...
Thats my take..

For those concerned with such things, most junior upgrade awarded today was a Feb 2012 hire.

For a class date at the end of March. In the summer the upgrades were down to about 3 years 8 months at one point. Now they've been holding steady over 4 years for a while. All of the new hires I've talked to has said the recruiters keep telling them to expect 2 year upgrades... Where are those when the upgrade time has been slowly RISING?

Classes were big 60-70 ppl a month for most of 2011 and into mid 2012 , that coupled with the awards are for typically senior bases den/lax/phx/sea has meant people that by passed before are taking the plunge especially once they notice a increase in upgrade time they fear they held out too long
Wasn't there a 6-8 month gap in hiring in 2012/2013? Seems like when we hit that upgrade times might drop closer to 3 but thats probably the lowest it'll get.
I had a recruiter talk to me recently and he said in the past the upgrade times were hovering around 4 years, but it has been dropping fast and to expect 1 1/2- 2 years. Ill believe it when i see it...
