He/she wouldn't be able to see that since I believe he/she works for one of the AA WOs.

Where the rest of the expiring uax 700s end up is the million dollar question.

Yes, based on previous postings it seems almost certain that, like JB22, buddies8 is a troll, and highly probable an AA WO troll.

Default Newhires

I don't have a dog in the fight. Just lost my job after 8 years do to our Part 91 flight department closure and exploring all opportunities

NEW to the 121 world of possibilities

Live in the northern rockies so looking at commute.

4000+ TPIC Jet

Any chance a new hire gets the 175?

What is the Junior base today?

Are they still placing people in the Emb 120?

thanks

Default 2015 numbers

Just some quick numbers for 2015 for those that are interested. These numbers are based on my notes so nothing official from the company.

Jan 1st 2015 - Pilots on seniority list (3,411) Dec 31st 2015 (3850) Net gain of 439 pilots.

Attrition for 2015 - 219 CA and 295 FO total of 514 pilots. Average per month - 43 (18 CA, 25 FO)
I only had 6 months of data for 2014 but from July to Dec we had 106 CA and 156 FO for a total of 262. Average per month of 44 overall (18 CA and 26 FO)

I found it interesting that the numbers were pretty similar between the last part of 2014 and 2015. Not sure where the company is getting 20-25 but maybe they are only counting FO's? It would be interesting to run the numbers to see what bases are losing the most (MSP and ORD seem to be the most with a quick glance) and what airframe has the most attrition. Anyways, if any of you find it interesting like I do, I thought I would pass along the info.

You have a good chance of getting the 175 but will likely be based in ORD.

Junior base for new hires: 175 - ORD. CRJ - MSP.

The EMB120 has been out of service for several months.

Sorry to hear of your job loss, but...with 4000+ turbine PIC, why go to a regional? Go to an LCC, apply to the majors...

Man, in the same boat. Getting old to keep hearing that.....
Just like everyone else not getting the call, no rhyme or reason on who they will offer a job to next.
A recent 121 training event is just another box to check in hopes of that call.
