No sheet. Here's a fix. You upgrade and hire more!!! The guys are so fixated on flying an RJ literally into the grave it's pathetic.

Most of them can't move on so want to do whatever it takes to protect the company as long as they can until the ship finally keels over

The minimum day increase from the last pay package was just enough to keep most reserve pilots from breaking guarantee and probably saved the company quite a bit of money. And they convinced us (SAPA) that it was a win for the pilot group. They have already been doing this flying for awhile now and I don't see them stopping. SAPA will get talked into how this is a good thing and how to sell it to the pilot group, or we will get some PBS training or another golden day to offset the loss.

The fact that we continue to see more and more QOL loss and nobody does anything has convinced me that we will never get a union here. Those that want better will leave but before they leave, they will approve some changes that they won't be around to feel the effects of. Thanks JP!!

Just imagine a 65+ guy and an 800 hour CFI flying around a wounded, empty, 200. What could go wrong?

Not even considering how crazy it is anyone would even consider passing up on any flying without something SUBSTANTIAL in return.

If you are shorthanded, you need to hire and upgrade more. Bottom line.

Not push the finish line back so these lifers flying around RJ's for 140k a year can continue to dip in the fountain for a few bucks.

No joke. The top lifers at SKW are not satisfied with the the extra 5 years 65 bought them. They're more concerned about the super sikk day rate and staying behind the RJ tillah until death.

Won't happen, and that came straight from the people at CAMI. They give the airlines 5 years to deal with the shortage and they hired zero pilots.

Blah blah blah, the people at CAMI said the same thing about 65. According to the FAA guy we had in the jumpseat, 67 is coming whether you like it or not.
