Seriously? But what is being paired, and for what purpose?

can't tell whether you're serious or not. A pairing (or "trip") is a string of flights anywhere from 1-4 days in length. Called a pairing because most of the time you're paired with the same crew for the length of the trip.

And Skywest has been ignoring that as well. PBS ignores it when it needs to fill minimum line values each month. The other problem that many are having, is transitioning to the 175. The company is refusing transition awards to CRJ pilots because of "company needs", but is still filling new hire 175 classes. So new hires are getting the higher paid airplane with the better schedules, and when a guy/gal on property asks to transition, they get told no. The company doesn't give a **** about seniority.
