Skywest
Oh and while I'm here I just have to mention this:
If a Horizon guy is forced to DH home after a long trip on your metal and you check in with Horizon ops on 132.00 (or any Horizon freq), our Crew Schedulers might kindly ask you to tell us we need to call Crew Scheduling. If you have any shred of decency in you please DONT EFFING DO THAT TO US.
Not only will I not call in, I will tell our company that you didn't tell me anything anyway. If the roles were reversed I'd NEVER agree to that. Not my job to be CS.
Thanks.
Also, I'm sorry if some of our salty captains give you **** when you try to get a ride on us. The majority of us don't feel that way. It's misplaced anger that should be directed towards Alaska mgt.

Scare tactics for the weak indeed.
Just the other day I had a guy whose sister was in ICU after a car wreck. Wouldn't call in. His mind was not on the job. After the first round trip, we had a heart to heart and he did call in.
So sad that in a family emergency the first thought is about company ramifications.

Had a couple of your Jumpseats last few months, was a pleasure, thanks.
Because a majority either A. don't believe it'll do anything or B. are content with how things are going.

Well it may not be as good as alpa mainline it sounds a bit better that what's going on at Skywest. In my opinion, it's only going to get worse at all regionals with the staffing challenges

And who is going to fund that? You think SkyWest is going to pay SAPA to get certified by the NLRB? It cost to negotiate even after you're certified and would cost way more than anyone is willing to put up.
