I have no idea what he's talking about either. I was a lineholder in most of our bases CRJ bases after a year, and that was with very little attrition (I'm an early 2011 hire). With the current amount of people leaving, I would certainly think you would be a lineholder in 18 months with a good portion of the bases.
Don't worry about what rcfd13 said. Apparently, he's still trying to figure out PBS.

To early to tell, since the 175 is in it's infancy here and UAL had barely announced any destinations. So the flying isn't really that great or varied yet. I would anticipate that the overall credit values for the month will average out the same eventually. Since the 175 pays higher for soft time (non-flying), it will pay more for the sane credit month than the rj would.

He asked about high credit trips in ORD. Junior line holders do low credit MKE, FWA, MKG, MBS turns all day. It takes a few years to hold high credit trips. All I said was not to worry about doing high credit trips in ORD for a few years.

City's we know so far..
United will offer E175 in several additional markets beginning in June, complementing existing United services:
Chicago-Minneapolis /St. Paul, beginning June 5
Chicago-Atlanta, beginning June 15
Houston-Atlanta, beginning June 15
Houston-New Orleans, beginning June 15
Chicago-New York LaGuardia, beginning June 23
San Francisco-St. Louis, beginning Sept. 20
San Francisco-Austin, beginning Oct. 26
San Francisco-Dallas/Fort Worth, beginning Oct. 26
San Francisco-Minneapolis/ St. Paul, beginning Oct. 26
SkyWest Airlines will operate the services to and from Chicago O'Hare International Airport and to and from San Francisco International Airport. Mesa Airlines will operate the flights to and from Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
United expects to introduce 70 E175 aircraft into the United Express fleet by the end of 2015. As United inducts new aircraft into the fleet, the airline will remove smaller, less efficient regional aircraft from the fleet. The E175s consume less fuel per seat and have fewer CO2 emissions per seat than the aircraft they replace.

99% sure they will. I believe when the initial aircraft was announced they said ORD would open first, then followed by DEN and SFO. I briefly discussed it with the fleet coordinator and was told either late 2014 or early 2015 to expect SFO as a 175 base. So I'm almost positive it will happen. I'm 1% unsure because, well, it's the airline industry.
