Thanks for the tips on training. I'm in the Candlewood, and my class starts next week.

But SkyWest does have a lot of pilots that are unlikely to ever move on.
This sounds about right, as far as anyone can tell. HOWEVER...this assumes the fleet size remains the same. If it shrinks there will be backwards movement.

That's 14 airplanes, 10 being 200's. The 4 900's will certainly find a home, if the contract is not renewed. There are also 10 200's and 31 700's that come off contract with United in 2015... it's possible they extend these 700's or replace them with 175's. Other than that, its just a few 200's here and there that come off contract until 2018 when a majority of the 700/900 contracts come up.

SkyWest has a lot of aircraft on order. AA still needs to find a home for its 700 flying... Alaska is shopping for Q replacements. Just saying... this place has some tricks up its sleeve.

They are pretty good.

As far as "OMG 1 year upgradez !!!!11!!!!!" type of growth. Not going to happen here.

Attrition is picking up amongst our senior folks.. I would say most are more picky.. They hold out for Alaska/Delta.. But still a lot of Junior captains going to USair/United..

Attrition is picking up amongst the middle of the pack captains. Not the senior ones. I haven't flown with any captain under about a 20,000 number who has told me they even have apps in anywhere. Two years ago it was mostly the 26,000+ guys I saw moving on. Now it's picking up in the 20-26 numbers.

One I flew with, 16k # got hired at DL. I never fly with CAs with 20k numbers. But I'm at a senior domicile.

Hey guys, not to derail too much... I quite enjoy the current discussion, just wondering if anybody knows the class dates for October? Just tying to plan ahead a little.

thanks

Just curious where would a #123 number put you on the seniority list these days?

Right around the low 400s (415-420ish) overall from the looks of things.
