I am wondering what I can expect for credit times when I start(I have heard there is next to no reserve).

How long before I can bid trips that have "long legs" I definitely prefer staying in the air for a longer time.

Should I plan to bid into ORD for much better trips?

Thanks everyone!

That's not how I see it, he's just trying to plan for his future. I'd do the same.

I don't see any complaining. Just an inquisitive new hire. Standard Skywest response though. Basically "shut up and thank us for being here."

Most people prefer 35 minute legs, so those 3+ hour legs in a 700 should be easy to bid right off the bat. Probaly before you finish IOE. Actually, I heard they just assign them to you as soon as you arrive at the Candlewood.

Did another SKW pilot not bow and shake your hand as you were passing in the terminal?

I'm so sorry for the pain you must feel.

I'm not sure what makes you think you can or should be a jack*** but you having a higher post count doesn't make you an internet god. Maybe try helping someone that's excited and trying to get things right for himself would be a good thing. If you're like this in the cockpit you won't be around long, one could only hope.

If my sarcasm meter is broken, then oops.

He wasn't complaining and everyone above is spot on about you. This is why all of us at XJT think you're all a bunch of DB's.
