There are 103 Bro FOs who have a transition bid to the CRJ. Only 30 of those have put "Any" as a base choice.

Any skywest guy: When does the new bid come out? Isn't that when everyone knows when the next Brasilia class is scheduled (or not), when the HR/scheduling people have figured out staffing requirements for the bid?

We don't know the size or how big a class is going to be by just looking at a vacancy bid. The only people that know are the ones down in St George

The bids come out around the first of every month and usually are awarded within the first week. This month they awarded a 10 person transition class. Before this July class they just awarded there hasn't been a transition since December.

Since they haven't awarded any classes since December there are very few people still seat locked. Almost anyone on the bro who wants to bid the RJ could do it right now. We have around 100 people on the list for a transition and about 30 people who have any base bid. There probably won't be a new hire RJ class until at least those 30 people with any bid get their transition.

I haven't interviewed in a while but here's some advice.

Study the materials they outlined for you in the interview email.
Know the systems of your current aircraft in and out and be able to draw them.
If you're not instrument proficient, get proficient in a Frasca Sim.
Be humble, ask questions, be courteous to everyone you meet, including other interviewees.
Lastly, pick the honey baked ham for your lunch choice. Oh, and no matter what DO NOT take off your suit jacket, even if asked to do so.

Good luck!

I haven't heard that one. As I recall I was pretty comfortable during my interview.
