The number one reason not to go to Skywest is not going to be the low pay soon. Soon the reason you will hear is: "I would love to go to Skywest but I don't want them to force me to be a Captain!"
Another thing you will see asked on APC forum is, "If I go to Skywest, how long do you think it will be before I could hold FO?"

A few years ago would you have predicted all that is happening now?
I bet if I cared enough to look back in your post history we could share a laugh at the things you said wouldn’t happen and now have.
So this month the plug of company was awarded CA. That means no one senior to them was eligible and willing. Answer me this, what happens when we have a month or several when we don’t have enough volunteers that are eligible? Do you think the company is going to be ok with running an airline with no captains?

Please go look at my past posts!!! Seriously... I predicted NH Captains... I predicted the growth.. ect.. Im not wrong on this.. what will happen is they will offer street captain interviews.. and soft landings.. won’t get to that though.. “fleet flexibility”. Aircraft will get parked..
Imagine the press coverage if they force someone to upgrade and then there's an accident. Not even SGU is dumb enough to risk that...

AA used to do it. There version of up or out was that you had to upgrade when X number of people junior to you had upgraded. And X was a small number.
