Many voted yes because they didn’t care. I’m flying with guys and gals who are in the middle of messy divorces and breakups because the QOL has gotten so bad, their families are leaving. So they don’t care. They take what they can get because they are too busy dealing with their failing personal lives. It’s rampant as the QOL gets worse....

And they somehow thought that voting yes to a garbage package that included 0 QOL improvements would somehow help their cause?

That’s about what first year FOs are making.

I started here two years ago and my first year was over $40K.

Not saying you should. What you should have done was have interventions with anyone who even thought of voting yes.

Man, you’re wasting your time with that group. As the saying goes “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.” I don’t get it anymore than you do

Oh boy, that’s huge. Should be able to put a big dent on those student loans

Dude, messy divorces and breakups have been part of aviation for the last 80 plus years. I highly doubt QOL at Skywest is the sole cause for all that.
There's many people in general who just don't get along with airline life. Stupid to blame people's personal problems on their job. In all honesty, many going through a divorce better be damn glad they have a job to deal with the aftermath.

The absolute garbage schedules for April are up, enjoy. If nothing else they should motivate you to GTFO.

I didn’t know things could suck as bad as they are!

We need trip and duty rigs badly!

And yesterday was a new personal record, 2 calls from CS, from 2 different schedulers, in 2 minutes, asking if I wanted to pick up 2 different trips for the generous 150% override!

I think this summer is going to be a disaster!

I just wonder what exactly you two think you are going to accomplish. We passed a horrible pay package. Most users here realize that and were quite vocal about it. Some of us are even trying to get ALPA on board. What is your endgame?

My marriage was not helped by the QOL erosion over the last two years. My wife was so shell shocked that she literally refused to believe it would be any better at a major. She's recovering now though.
