Not disagreeing with the post, but, it only got up to 4628 I believe, and that was about 10 days ago when they added in a new class. But, now its down to 4586, a loss of 40 in that short period.

They are getting rid of 10 CRJ 200s in Chicago in May. That is 100 fewer pilots they need. That will cover things for about 5 months. They pretty much have all the ERJ pilots they need. They just have to keep up with attrition, which will not be easy.

Skywest got their pilots to sign a 5 year deal so the company is happy. With a loss of about 24 planes a year as they come off contract, they should be set for the next 4 years. Their profits are locked in for the next 4 years.

Sapa site has an update. Was indeed turned down.

Also they voted so NHs can now vote when finished with IOE... Good thing we all overwhelmingly said for the 1 year mark in our responses..

Where can we see which reps voted for new hires being able to vote?
Or will they keep that confidential?

There should be a pinned thread on top of the fb page with each rep and their voting record. It should be the first thing you see everytime you check that page.

Apparently it was unanimous

Gotta love that all the newly elected reps who used fb live and their little douchey selfie videos promising "change" and to vote with the pilot group on issues turned out to be full of **** too.

Maybe they will get to delta faster.

I think it is time to prohibit check airman/SIM check airman from SAPA.
How does one lead a no-hard feelings political campaign to get a rep removed when said rep could be in your jumpseat tomorrow for a PRIA event.
While I like to think we are more mature than needing to worry about this you never know who you are dealing with.

It wasn’t. 3 voted in favor of restricting new hires to 1 year.

NHs voting was the biggest crock. SAPA and SGU can pass almost anything with hundreds of CFIs with their thumbs on the scale.

But hey, us captains are well-compensated.
