Thats the way the cards were delt this time... and how do you think OO got to the top of the game... we have only been not top of the game for a year or so.. look back at a 45 year history of regionals and we’re OO has been... you will never last in this industry if you don’t have patients, ask any Major airline pilot about that... is it crapy here right now. Yes, (for certain people based on seniority and aircraft).. does that mean everyone is going to impatiently jump ship. No....

Certainly agree with you. I would certainly make SKW my first choice, (and honestly it kind of is) because of the variety of bases available and training program

When we start cancelling flights and parking planes due to staffing issues every FO at this company will have apps in elsewhere. We are needing a growth of 50+ pilots a month and the company has no intent of fixing the QOL issues here. This is not something that has happened over the last year. Everyone believed RJ to not count bonuses as compensation when endv has been getting $20,000 for how long? They have waited to long to fix the issue now so we will continue to shrink IMO...

ERJ is staffed right now at 13.9 pilots per aircraft... no issues there. The CRJ is at 9.4. Thats the problem...(last CLX was 14 days ago.(AS side) And on the DL side 52 days...) we do 2000 flights a day... Funny how Endeavor/Republic just got good contracts and we DEMAND to match then the day after.... does it suck here... ya. For certain groups, dtw/msp pilots flying there tails off, slc doing mostly 4 day trips out to msp/dtw and loosing flying to the ERJ side.. Even if someone wanted to make a lateral move to Endeavor. They couldn’t tell late fall by then will match them...

Most of ground school is now self taught, some 40 to 50 cbt's.

Not an improvement in my opinion.

My understanding is a new contract is being worked on.

Those numbers are not true. I have gotten calls (didn’t answer) from them to cover flights that were in danger of canceling for lack of staffing and watched them code the cancelation as weather or maintenance when it didn’t get covered.
They will stretch it in any way they can to not code it as a staffing cancelation.

By fall, a flow.. these forum boards haven’t changed in 20 years either!!!
No way in hell are we ever getting any sort of flow. We can’t even get commuter parking.

They are not contractually responsible for WX CANX, so that's the preferred code. Sometimes it's even halfway true, ie a WX delayed crew times out. The fact that they had no reserves is beside the point.
