That's still 1500 numbers off the bottom of the list though.

I don't think the awards are done yet...right now it's showing virtually all CRJ upgrades/transitions/transfers and almost no ERJ guys.

You're right though, latest CRJ upgrade is 2 years, 2 months. Amazing...

Yep. Noticed the same thing. Doubt the erj will go anywhere though it's been sr for a while now.

Awards are not even close to being done... More CRJ captain will get awarded as they back fill from the guys going to the ERJ

Hey guys, thinking about joining Skywest, I have a SIC ERJ 145 type rating, would that qualify me for the $7500 bonus? or does it need to be a PIC type?

A type rating is a type rating, dude. It being SIC restricted makes it no less of a type rating whether it is restricted for circling in VMC only, or SIC limited. Don't even bring it up with them, just tell them that you are typed in the E145 and have 121 or 135 experience.

Current number of CRJ CA upgrades matches number in DVR.... so I suspect the CRJ side of the house is done...

... as is the ERJ side but just not published.

I suspect we are seeing only the data entry. I envision a massive post-it note exercise. Once the "solution" has been completed it is entered into the Z80 based infrastructure in SGU.

Oh come on, an SIC type is a total joke and everyone knows it. I have two and they're not worth anything. I have to think the bonus only applies to PIC types, but if SKW is dumb enough to be paying bonuses to guys with useless SIC types, then, well...

They are paying for the SIC type. You don't have to put someone through the CTP if they are already typed

Someone with an SIC type is trainable and either...

1) Employed by a competitor.
2) Highly employable by a competitor.

There's benefit to pulling pilots out of either category.

$7500 is cheap compared to hiring some random CFI who might wash out after 100 hours of IOE.
