DTW opening and subsequently expanding has disrupted the normal movement in MSP. Should stabilize in a few months.

May hire not holding a line? That doesn't sound unreasonable.
If they had sim immediately after ground they still wouldn't take their checkride until mid July. Finishing IOE mid August they would only have been on reserve a couple weeks.
The bid period beginning tomorrow would be the first time they could actually bid..whether or not that's with a line or on reserve

Yeah, I was in the March 28th class and Sept was the first month I could bid. 6 week off from Sims to IOE was awesome!

yup.

Targeted lines and reserve lines are up on the PBS main page. They usually come out a day or 2 early. You can see all the pairings except stand ups too.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not talking about huge increase in upgrades, only a slight uptick.... Combination of E175 deliveries, secured flying for the remaining 700's and attrition. Might not happen. The next couple DVR's will be telling.

DVR is a useless facade. Pilot pacifier

Any new hires or recent interviewees-

I have an interview scheduled at the end of the month. Anyone willing to help out with a current gouge? Would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

They prefer people who drive American made cars, don't have dogs, and never want to be based in DEN. Hope this helps!

Sincerely,
You know who

Study gouges, especially jepp plates, descending below mda, what are the requirements to land once you're 100 above TDZ elevation. Know the EXACT definition of final approach fix on ILS.Basic turbine theory with regards to how a Turbine engine works, different components. Electrical system of your most advanced aircraft, what's a volt/amp, transrectifier unit, transformer, diff between ac/dc. High altitude aerodynamics, Mach tuck, Mach buffett, Dutch roll how and why it happens, basic weather such as taf/metar, time frames of those, area covered. For crm just think of the resources available to you, use them, communicate with everyone, fess up to your mistakes, don't throw others under the bus, play your role. HR just don't lie, be yourself.
